Muslim man would by default respect the prophet which his non-Muslim wife believes in but a non-Muslim man would not believe or respect the prophet which his wife believes in.

Then why does the woman has to convert herself?
It is highly likely for the man to teach his children the religion he follows. A non-Muslim man with a Muslim wife would then teach their child to be a Christian or Jew. This would mean that the mother would have to be a witness to her child being led onto the wrong path.

This clearly states the Islam's ignorance of other religions... which according to Islam.... the GOD Allah himself did let prevail.. and comes back to my very 1st comment of this reply.. he could have prevented this!!!

It could be okay for the husband to keep a pet dog inside the house. This is another thing which is not allowed by Islam but the non- Muslim husband might not understand it.
If DOG, PIG is dirty for Muslims then why did Allah created them in the first place?
Besides DOG is more useful for humans than its counterpart CAT (which Muslims like), ever seen a cat guide a blind person? or help sniff out drugs? catch criminals?

You convert from whatever to whatever Science does not care because at the end of the day all Science care about is FACTS not FICTION!!!
If you say so many Scientists converted to Islam because they understand Allah is there.. then I hope soon they can give us scientific explaintation about Allah's exsistance!!!
