Well, if the software is open source, it is easier for the hackers to screw it up, don't you think?

but the thing is machan, it doesn't happen most of linux users even don't use any security software and use their linux installation for long looong looooong time without troubles but i never can't use the same windows installation for more than 1 month without a trouble, even with security softwares. hack attacks, worm attacks, network attacks, virus, trojans, malwares, spywares,, lol.. a lot of softwares for windows. what to do

DUH!!!!!!!! have u ever tried OPERA???? U can customize it way better than FF..... and opera natively supprts tons of featurz that FF3 has 2 hav addons 2 work...

Yes anusha that may b correct.But still they may using something like open-closed principle in their source which is they may closed which are critical from the side of security and stuff.
P.S. This is what i think ok. I'm not sure cuz I haven't looked into their source .
