what do u go for? love marriage or proposed marriage

well, life is all about making choices, that and dealing w/ the consequences.

how can u say for 100% tt the person u marry from an proposed marriage wont fall into the first category?!
similarly, how can u say that the person u love, wont be tt perfect one that 'you've known them for your whole life time',

marriage is a gamble, a coin can flip both ways.
No one can say wad will happen in the future..

every1 has flaws, no one is perfect. Those are the things that have to be sorted out in the course of the marriage.
the only difference between the arranged and the love marriage is that,
when problems do occur, in a love marriage at least u know tt that is ur choice and shld be thus responsible for the results that follow.

all i am trying to say is, if that is the face u have to c every morning, dun u want it to be the one tt u feel most at ease with?!

Well, I don't think you know much about proposed marriages..
These days it's not like that people see their partners only on the wedding day..
Parents search for a long time for the most suitable one..
And if son or daughter is so close to parents, they know who is the best partner to choose..
And parents do not take decisions just by looking at the horoscope..
They let each other to talk and get to know for a quite a time..
Then they can decide for themselves..
In most love marriages problems between the wife and the mother-in-law starts just after the wedding..
Then theirs no happiness in the family..
As I see, we have a responsible for our parents..
We are the whole world for them..
They do not want to make us suffer for the rest of our lives..

They have to give us the chance.... Because its our life...

of course my parents are important.. what did i say to suggest that they werent?

mayb i'm brainwashed in this issue.. lol.. my parents r a love marriage too.. never did c mine as any different..

i respect ur view aiya!.. not trying to argue here..
was just saying that neither is good or bad.. its the most personal choice there is..

i chose love, coz i know that at the end of the day, i cant wake up to a stranger in the morning.. thats all..
