For Pirates: easily modifiable.
Game size is very low compare with bluRay games so you can download
anything from Piratebay .
You know Final Fantasy 13 is around 40GB for PS3
but games for xbox360 like Alan wake around 6 to 7GB(Max might be 20GB) like a normal PC game.
Online game play is NOT free therefore there is a free community made by
a group of people where you can hang out with people and play mutliplayer games via
xbox360
Kinect that means no need to use your joysticks just use gestures.
Almost most of games developed in USA,Europe,India are available for Xbox360
Microsoft XNA frame work can be used to develop games for Xbox360 with
less codes. so there are ton of games for free for Xbox360.
Price is cheap relative to PS3.


Disadvantages
Red Ring of Death was quite common in early models of Xbox360 but which is now
rare in slime version.
No BluRay Player so you can't watch HD movies or play games on 60inches TVs in High Quality. (do you know Final Fantasy 13 is even brilliant on 60 inches screen on PS3 Console? that's quite marvelous)
Poor Customer Support
Triple Core Processor is powerless compare with Cell Processor
Xbox360 uses ATI GPU but according current industry trend most of video games
use nvidia techs example paralleling processing aka CUDA, PhysX.
No Official Free online game play so you have to pay them
like there are subscriptions gold, silver etc........

Advantages
Very High Quality game play experience BUT IF that particular game is optimized
for PS3 console and uses high resolution textures.
as an example GTA IV uses 512x512 pixels resolution textures for Nico Bellic's
character.
BluRAY disk drives.
Better Stability and good customer service.
Durability is very high compare with Xbox360. believe in me
this is my personal experience and also most of people verify the same.
so you can't argue against it.
Free Online game play.
Most of games developed in Japan are exclusive for PS3 or available for both platforms. but keep in mind Japanese games are really into fantasy than reality.
do you SQURE EINX.? that's the game development studio of Tomb Raider,Final Fantasy etc.....
PS 3 uses nVidia GPU and most of games are nvidia gpu optimized.
so you can get the maximum performance.
Playstation HOME which is a free social community network like Second Life
a fully 3d game that you can use to hang out with people.!!
this is awesome but need a high speed internet connection.

Very Hard to crack due to continue update of the PS3 fireware
Most of games are around 30 to 40GB so obviously it takes ton of time to download
them if they are pirated. and NO STEAM FOR Console games.
Expensive
Unnecessary for 720p screens. of course you can't see much different on low
resolutions. so it's better to stick with Xvox360 if you don't want to mess up with
HD like 1080i/p.
