According to the official Xiaomi Weibo
account, the upcoming
Xiaomi CIVI will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. The same chip is present inside the
Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G and a number of other mid-range smartphones from other brands.
Although we know that the
Snapdragon 778G is inferior to the
Snapdragon 780G found in the
Mi 11 Lite 5G (aka Mi 11 Youth Edition), Xiaomi claims that the Xiaomi CIVI will offer a smooth experience for 36 months.
Further, the firm also
confirms the presence of a 4,500mAh battery. For those unaware, this handset measures only 6.98mm in thickness and weighs about 166g. The Mi 11 Lite series with almost similar measurements houses a slightly smaller 4,250mAh battery.
According to
previous teasers, the Xiaomi CIVI will have a design similar to vivo and OPPO smartphones. It will feature a triangular camera array, an AG glass back, a curved display with a centered punch-hole, and a metal frame. The device is also said to offer
‘pixel-level’ beauty mode in the camera app.
Last but not least, a tipster even revealed most of the
remaining specs. However, we would advise you to consider them with a pinch of salt.
