xp and vista on multiple hard disk help

machooo...i hav a 320 gig and a 80gig hard drives///

so wt am plannin ta do is ta install VISTA on ma 320,and install xp on ma 80,,,
so is it possible ta use it like this eh????

so when tha pc starts it must promt sayinm"use vista or xp..

so is this possible?????

gimme ur ideas????

tanks macho...buh im talkin abt multiple HD's naah...i wan ta insatll vista in one and XP in tha other....so any ideas?????

Yes it is possible, procedure is very similar to setting up vista and XP in multiple partitions. In your case the only difference is you choose different hard disks when selecting the install location. Install XP first and then Vista, you can do it the other way too, but then you’ll have to repair the master boot record of Vista to boot it again

...thansk alot maan.......so here goes tha xp and vista!!!!!!

    ow aiya :) :D:D:D:D

    oyata puluwan....

    off the top of my head aiya :oo: .......... if you completely format both drives..... first install xp (xp first) onto whichever drive you want aiya.....log on to xp too see if it works.

    then second you install vista onto the other drive aiya.
    If you have problems booting either vista or xp after installing vista.... then aiya you can insert the vista Disc....and go to Restore Boot Settings or somthing like that.

    can't remember what it is called aiya but the vista disc configures the boot problem and fixes it up.

    aiya I am sorry if I am wrong. but I am pretty sure this will work.

    ;) (xp first....then vista........ booting problems? insert the vista disc and go from there... Cheers ;) )
