Toyota is dropping Vitz nameplate and going with Yaris from 2020 onwards similar to dropping Axio and going with Corolla sport. Looks like they are going to drop Aqua too and keep Yaris hybrid.

Really, but mazda recent engines are comes with skyactive technology heard those engines are powerful and comes with great fuel consumption.

If the engine has skyactive it's so much better than current Toyota engine. In fact any new 1000cc engine is better than age old 1KR engine. (applies only to 1L Yaris)
Hmm I think it has more horsepower than toyota 1000cc ones.But when it comes to reliability not so good.Good for first few years then trouble.Yaris comes with a mazda engine with the toyota engine cover on it.

The 1KR-FE 1.0-litre is developed by Daihatsu, while the M15A 1.5-litre is a new development of Toyota to additionally handle electrification. Apart from a CVT automatic, the 1.5 Hybrid has optional electronic all-wheel drive.
