What I am about to tell you is a bit shocking
but its true.

After reading http://www.sundayobserver.lk/2008/11/16/spo19.asp and seeing Ganidu Nanayakkara from Ananda College here is what I say. He has used my software's idea, he has violated my Copyright and the guy doesn't have a website even. How can he call him self a software developer? My company site is http://www.chiranthasoft.cq.hk
SLASI (Sri Lanka Association for the Software Industry) has a grudge with me so I guess this is how they take grudges. They throw me out of the YCS competition and give the Gold Award to a software just like mine!
WHY?
The Managing Director of SLASI Ms. Surani Samarasekara and my mother have worked together at the Export Development Board (EDB) for more than 12 years! But as you see in the article of The Sunday Leader she says she does not know my mother OR me. I have seen and talked with that aunty many times when she was in the concerts of the EDB. Normally as you see. They make one lie to cover another.
Hate!?!
Simply its jealously. The two consecutive years I won at YCS my mom was very proud of me. She told everyone in the Office (EDB) and some people did NOT go good with it. If you think there is no hate I have the Police Entry. YES they went so far with it that the issue ended up at the Moratuwa police station HQI Rohan Perera.
Losing is one. But Stealing is another
I gave my softwares source code to SLASI only because of mutual trust. I did not expect that aunty have a hate with me! But being thrown out I can cope but my idea being used by the Gold Meal holder Ganidu Nanayakkara is some thing I cannot bare. I am a disabled from birth which is the reason I had that idea. And I made that Talking Clock software when Ganidu Nanayakkara was sucking the milk bottle. Proof. Kill two Birds with One Stone
The Managing Director of SLASI Ms. Surani Samarasekara has done it. Ms. Surani Samarasekara was in a financial crisis at start of 2008 as she owed the Bank of Ceylon several lacks of money *RUMOR*. So guess how a Managing Director is going to pay it. HINT *Bribes*. She full filled her revenge by throwing me out. And fulfilled her financial problems by giving tips about my Software to get to the Gold position.
The Two projects
Here are the similarities between the two projects in question.
Ganidu Nanayakkara's
1. Helps disabled people
2. Uses wired a watch as the controlling device
3. Uses a Limited Range Bluetooth device for wireless control
4. Point : Allows remote control of PC (something that has already possible with mobile apps)
5. None on the internet uses it
6. Uses VB code
7. He does it with the help of the school
Chirantha Amerasinghe's
1. Helps Blind and disabled people
2. Uses a wired Joystick controller as the controlling device
3. Uses a unlimited range GPRS device for wireless control
4. Point : Allows disabled or blind people to hear the time and date. Also allows people call a telephone number for help or SMS a mobile for help with its UNIQUE State of Emergency System(R).
5. More than 800 people world wide have used.. over 20 have commented at my website
6. Uses compiled code Purebasic
7. Totally individual project!
If you know this Ganidu Nanayakkara tell him that cheating will never win! Today he might win it the next day he will lose more than he expect. Your see that both softwares have striking similarity! And I will not rest until justice is served. Ganidu Nanayakkara and I are different, He is a schooling person I am not. If he thinks he is going to get away stealing my idea he should not be standing on the soil of Sri Lanka.
We are not durty people like him but I will NOT rest my mouth in public. Ananda College is not a big school to me now because I feel durty children like him are there. Lets see how Ganidu Nanayakkara is going to have a reputation. I cannot let a theif win. Its just not the Sinhala way is it?
Companies like SLASI giving positition to people like Ms. Surani Samarasekara is the fault for all this. Now Ganidu Nanayakkara and I have an issue. I call him a theif.
