Youtube HD video viewing problem

Need help guys.
Youtube videos seem to get stuck sometimes even after the whole thing is finished buffering. Well, not stuck but the playback is not smooth. This gets worth when i view full screen. Is it coz of my PC's performance? Will it work better in a quad core pc?

You don’t need a quad core to watch HD youtube videos. A normal dual core or even an old Pentium 4 should be enough. Try with a different browser.

So machan the performance of the PC does matter. So not just the internet speed i should also have a good PC too huh? And I'm using firefox.

Yes, performance of the PC does matter. But youtube HD videos don’t require that much of CPU power. You don’t need a Quad core. What do you have now? Check your background apps and unload everything that you dont need.

Well machan the pc um using now has a amd athlon xp processor and 1.8gb ram. I guess thats where the problem is. And um not talking about just HD videos. Even normal video viewing in youtube is not smooth and its worse in fullscreen. Then it must be coz of performance.
