Zapak launched a Game Based On Bollywood Flick " Love Story 2050 ".
Star of the future Harman Baweja, Priyanka Chopra, Javed Akhtar, Harry Baweja with his wife Pammi Baweja and Anu Malik were present for the launch. The event also saw the launch of toys ‘Space Listener’ and ‘Space Carrier’ and ‘Boo’ that will be distributed by Zapak. Boo is the robot pet toy that Priyanka’s character has cuddled throughout the movie.

Video games based on movies are quite common in Hollywood. Though Bollywood movies are quite popular all over the world, no producer has ever dared to venture into the mainstream video game territory. However, Yash Raj had tied up with FXLabs for a Dhoom 2 game but it seems that game is still under development.
One of the biggest films of Bollywood this year is Love Story 2050. Indian gaming portal Zapak has now tied up with them for merchandise as well as a video game. Love Story 2050 The Game has been developed by Rocking Pixels. The game was unveiled at an lavish event in Mumbai in the presence of Harman Baweja, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani, Javed Akhtar and Anu Malik. Arun Mehra, the CMO of Zapak and Sanjit Daniel, CEO of Rocking Pixels, were also present at the event.
Harman Baweja is known to be a gamer. Baweja Junior revealed that he and Boman Irani used to play video games on the sets of Love Story 2050 The Game. He said, “Zapak is the largest gaming portal in India and we are extremely happy to be associated with them through our film LoveStory 2050.”
Sanjit Daniel, CEO, Rocking Pixels commented, “When Love Story 2050 was announced we realized that the movie will be a great fit to showcase our technology as it was futuristic and loaded with special effects. With Harman himself being a hard core gamer we managed to create a breakthrough game which brings the movie in all its glory to the world of 3D gaming. The game will be released as a massively multiplayer game and will feature exciting game play in a futuristic Mumbai, exactly as depicted in the movie.”

The movie has a futuristic setting and these products will have a complete fit with the kids & gaming fraternity. Apparently the Love Story 2050 game is the first time a Bollywood based 3D game featuring realistic ‘avatars’ of the stars has been made. They did not reveal the release dates of Love Story 2050 The Game, but let us hope that the game comes out real soon. Previously, Zapak had tied up with the movie Bhoothnath and come out with toys as well as a casual game based on the film.
