    ALL i KNOW about bikes

Aprox 40Km per litre city limits.

ane atta ,umba fz ekak dakala wat na. i've used FZ for more than one year. always gave maximally around 35 colombo city limits. it never gave me 40. danne nati pacha gahanna epa ban ,

pulser 135- vibration is there, sure , above 65-70, your testicals begin to vibrate like a motor. it's not a fast bike bro. having 125 kg weight make it easier to vibrate. david peris un kiyai da ban bike eke naraka..
55kmpl katha boru, i had bajaj xcd 135 with 10Hp engine , which always gave me around 45 kmpl. so with new four valve tech, and added horsepower , don't expect much like 55. it'll be always below 50 for sure.and don't forget that's the same discovery 135 engine layout with minor modifications.

and well known fact is bajaj is not reliable as hero honda or yamaha or tvs..
also bajaj spares, filters, break shoes and common parts are expensive.
and also they buy cheap spares and sell under david peries tag for high prices.

all depends on what u want from a bike and your budget.

fuel consumption- calculate the real monthly cost on ur average use.don't bother aabout 50kmpl or 51kmpl or 10 kmpl.

ex. . for my usual riding pattern.

    it costed me
4000 Rs in bajaj xcd 135.
    5000 Rs in yamaha fz,
    5500 in pulsar 180,
    7000 RS in hornet 250- chassie 125,

all are tested with regular use and i usually ride around 50-70kmph speed,
    standerd tyre pressure,no modifications.
    colombo city limits.

so calculate in that way with your total monthly mileage,
it wont be a problem at all..

    my suggestions are

FZ- looks, second hand value, yamaha name eventhough it's indian,

TVS RTR 180- best performance, max handling, sporting DNA,reliable, hard use

HERO HONDA HUNK - reliable, look . advanced tech backed by japanese honda,

HONDA STUNNER- simple reason, it's a honda

BAJAJ pulsar 135 - if u are so bother abt bajaj name, "see the attitude of idiot people who use that by looking at above modified pulser 135image"

and one for all. don't get advices abt bikes from the people who rides their first bike and those who love that than their girlfriend.also from the showroom people.

    safe ride.don't drink and ride.
    wear helmet
use 60% front and 40% rear brakes.
    wet roads= no grip.
and please keep in mind that you are not riding a HONDA CBR 1000RR.

also don't forget that Innocent people and children are everywhere, they always walk in the road by assuming that you are a RESPONSIBLE RIDER.

    good luck bro..
    enjoy your 135

You must get your bike checked from an authorised dealer. I bought my bike 3 months ago. And it gives me approximately 40 in city limits. I pump 4 liters and it gives me 160 Km. Tested and proven. Make sure you change the engine oil, oil filter and the air filter on time.

I dont want to convince you. I shared my own first hand experience for the qustioned asked.

    FZ and FZS

    sorry for you mate..
i've used number of bikes . so still u dont know that most of authorised dealers use untrained laborours, for cheap salary. so they no nothing other than washing it and change engine oil, probably some break pad change.
real eingeneer is not there always. specially with AMW.
so u really want to check up,,? there are learned , experienced guys around colombo. you know nothing abt bikes.

also noth that fuel consumption depends on various facts.
rider weight, acceleration, tyre pressure, average speed, frictional coefficient of road, and lubricants.

probably u can get that 40kmpl due to several reasons.

1 - ultra smooth ride with no acceleration ( sell ur fz and buy ct100 )
2 - use of premium petrol (octane 95+)
3 - high tyre pressures than recomended ( result radial ware of tyre)
4 - still under 1500 km odo and speed under 50kmph (new bike ah?)
    5 - u are 50kg male with kwoshiyokor disease. ( wadipura kapan)
6- ur speedo or odo may faulty (yamaha FZ is famous for that fault)
7 - U are glorified liar abt 1St bike. (its normal until others know, than u are mad)

so I and my friends have several FZand FZS too. all the same story,
we do experience the fun of that acceleration without bothering ur 40kmpl.

    thin u got the point..

    be a man..
bike is a tool and use it as so, don't live for bike.
    reev it, you'll feel it.....
    if still not confident,.....

    wear a saree.............
    thanks
