Mononoke Hime.

It's sorta like Nausica, but not that good. it creates a imaginary world and make you live in it. but somehow I remember Nausica being much better at every aspect.

Nausicaa is, without a doubt, Miyazaki's best work. Even Spirited Away, which inexplicably, won an Oscar, doesnt come close to it.

to be honest I liked DK more than any other batman film or story which had came across, so far

screen play/script was written by those two, but the base stories were Miller's graphic novels. Some of Joker and Batman dialogs in DK was directly from the Killing Joke.

But they have done a significant job developing the base characters.

several reasons for that. There's like 70 years worth of material to work on Gotham City's characters. How much material are there to describe the world of Avatar ?
Also Ding Dong seem to have lost his touch when it comes to making stellar movies. So him reworking the characters is a guaranteed disaster.
BTW, Bats didnt always get good adaptations. I take it that you have not seen the old Batman TV series or the George Clooney Batman movie have you ?

I was referring to the Live Action TV series from the 60s. It was shown on local TV way back in the 80s.
