Java කඩේ

මේ නම දැම්මේ මේ thread එක මම තනියම කරන එකක් නොවන නිසා.
මම කරන්න යන්නේ පිළිවෙලකට Java post දාන එකයි.
Java කාපු කට්ටියගෙන් මට help එක ඕනි මේක කරන්න.

Java වලට තියෙන ඔක්කොම resources පුළුවන් තරම් අපි මෙතනට එකතු කරමු.
අලුතෙන් Java ඉගෙනගන්න කට්ටියට,Java ගැන ආසාව,උනන්දුව තියෙන අයට මේක උදව්වක් වේවි.

කලින් අය වගේ අතර මැද නවත්තන්නේ නැතුව දිගටම කරන්න මම full try එක දාන්නම්.

Beginning of the Java

1991 දී James Gosling විසින් Sun Microsystems හිදී "Oak" නම් භාෂාවක් නිර්මාණය කරන ලදී.

පසුව Trademark පරීක්ෂණයේදී "Oak" නම අසමත් විය. එමනිසා 1995 දී එය Java ලෙස නම් කෙරින.

Java වඩාත් ප්‍රසිද්ධ වුනේ web application වලටය. ඒ Java වල වූ සුවිශේෂී ගති ගුණ නිසාය.

පසුව Java ක්‍රම ලේඛන භාෂාව වැඩි දියුණු වී අද තිබෙන Java භාෂාව නිර්මාණය වී ඇත.

Java වල භාවිතය කෙතෙක්ද කියතොත්..........

Java Install කිරීම.

දැන් ඉස්සර වගේ නෙවේ හරිම ලේසයි.
Download කරගත්ත .exe file එක run කරන්න.
Destination folder එක වෙනස් කරන්නෙ නැතුව Install කරගන්න.
(Destination එක වෙනස් කරන්න එපා කිව්වේ අපේ ලේසියට. ඒක පස්සේ තේරෙයි.)

.exe file එක run කලාම එන Window එකෙන් Next තෝරන්න.

ඊලඟට එන Window එකෙන් Destination folder එක වෙනස් කරන්නෙ නැතුව Next තෝරන්න.

ඊට පස්සේ මෙහෙම Install වෙයි.

ඊලඟට Finish කරන්න. වැඩේ ඉවරයි.

Setting Path

Java Install කරගත්තට පස්සේ command prompt එකේ java කියල type කරල බලන්න.

එතකොට මෙහෙම list එකක් එනවනම් Java Install වෙලා තියෙනවා.

ඊට පස්සේ javac කියල type කරන්න.
එතකොට මේ විදිහට message එකක් එයි.

ඒ කියන්නේ අපේ machine එකට Java compiler (javac) ඉන්න තැන හොයාගන්න බැහැලු.
ඉතින් අපි javac ඉන්න තැන machine එකට කියන්න ඕනි.

ඒක කරන හැටි බලමු දැන්.


Setting Path on Windows

For Windows XP:

1. Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Advanced
2. Click on Environment Variables, under System Variables, find PATH, and click on it.
3. In the Edit windows, modify PATH by adding the location of the class to the value for PATH. If you do not have the item PATH, you may select to add a new variable and add PATH as the name and the location of the class as the value.
4. Close the window.
5. Reopen Command prompt window, and run your java code.

For Windows Vista:

1. Right click “My Computer” icon
2. Choose “Properties” from context menu
3. Click “Advanced” tab (“Advanced system settings” link in Vista)
4. In the Edit windows, modify PATH by adding the location of the class to the value for PATH. If you do not have the item PATH, you may select to add a new variable and add PATH as the name and the location of the class as the value.
5. Reopen Command prompt window, and run your java code.

For Windows 7:

1. Right click “My Computer” icon

Setting Path on Solaris and Linux

To find out if the java executable is in your PATH, execute:
% java -version

This will print the version of the java executable, if it can find it. If you get error java: Command not found. Then path is not properly set.

To find out which java executable the first one found in your PATH, execute:
% which java

Below are the steps to set the PATH permanently,
Note: We are here giving instructions for two most popular Shells on Linux and Solaris.

For bash Shell:

1. Edit the startup file (~/ .bashrc)
2. Modify PATH variable:- PATH=/usr/local/jdk1.6.0/bin
3. export PATH
4. Save and close the file
5. Open new Terminal window
6. Verify the PATH is set properly -> % java -version

For C Shell (csh):

1. Edit startup file (~/ .cshrc)
2. Set Path -> set path=(/usr/local/jdk1.6.0/bin)
3. Save and Close the file
4. Open new Terminal window
5. Verify the PATH is set properly -> % java -version

ඊට පස්සේ Command prompt එකේ javac කියල type කලාම මේ විදිහට list එක පෙන්නයි.

ඒ කියන්නේ අපේ machine එකට java compiler (javac) ඉන්න තැන හොයාගන්න පුළුවන් දැන්.
