i tried but cant even get jupiter using 3000~ its the next object lighter and big enough to take a photo

18-135mm pretty much cover whole range for normal use.
use a x2 teleconverter to double it to 270mm.

+ get a 50mm f1.8

that should cover all your normal use

edit:
if you photograph wildlife, birds regularly, then go for a 70-300mm

most 5" + telescopes comes with built in trackers cost arnd $500-600
so tracking system alone might not be expensive much.

i guess that dude was using professional grade stuff
