come on, the reason you do such things is, by making them happy, you can feel better about yourself. so the ultimate goal of that is to make yourself happy..sub consciously you think it makes them happy, but it's actually yourself that you make happy....

you can verify this, do something that makes only her happy...that should make you unhappy..tell her that you did this, which makes her happy but in turns made you unhappy...see how you feel then
