trainees nowadays do not get paid that much in most SL companies.. anyway it varies depending on the company. So if it is a good company they will pay. When they ask what ur salary expectation is, avoid answering that question straightaway and somehow try to get atleast an idea of what they are going to pay by asking some question from him. Even if u mention a range they would consider the lower margin.

OK ,then If you are going for a QA Job the amount should be some where around 40000 ,but as you have already mentioned you are going as a trainee it will be even less ,
I will say some where around 20000-25000.And that also depends on the company .
Do not answer the question by a number or at least by a range for that matter.
Just say "I believe Company will offer me a package considering my academics and other qualifications as well as the current industry rates ".
