Machan, your onboard soundcard is far better in quality than your creative card. Why the heck are you using that anyway? The difference in quality between your current onboard soundcard and some of the cards mentioned above is minimal. The only time you would feel the suprior quality is if you are in a studio environment with very very high quality sound systems.

For normal use i.e watching movies/playing games I advice you to spend your money on speakers and only on the following brands: Logitech Z series,Altec Lansing, Bose or JBL. These are the best speaker/subwoofer brands you can buy. The models shown above are very pricey. Try to get your hands on atleast a Logitech Z530 5.1 system if u r looking 5.1 sounds.
