Dear Sir,
I read about a news article on how you fired two sales assistants due to not paying respect to a certain celebrity who paid a visit to the shop. As I fully understand, customer relationship management is a vital part in large organizations like yours, and if a customer makes a complaint, you should fully pay attention to it. However, as humans, we should have some sort of humanity in us, that we would not fire two poor salesgirls for being hostile to a customer.
I beg you not to fire those two girls, but provide them with a good training session, including being nice and friendly to customers, so that unpleasant things like that would not happen in the future.
You, sir, are the management. It is your job to take decisions when a customer makes a complaint, and by firing them according to what that celebrity suggested just make you look like you are not good enough for this post, and just act like a puppet of hers.
I again request you to re-think of the decision you make, since the news is being spread around quite fast, and it might lead to a considerable bruise in your company's reputation.
