I prefer not to compere them with stargate and If I ever do so stargate will get my vote because of my natural fondness for the franchise. But that would be unfair to other shows. Why dont you watch pilot episode of each series and decide for your self.

At the end of season finale episode Mr.Reese directly communicates with the machine.
Reese- (to a street cam) He's in danger now,because he was working for you.So you're gonna help me,get him back!
And machine starts to calculate options and a nearby payphone starts to ring

Can't think of any tv serial which got better and better with each episode like Game of Thrones. JJ Martin should be a happy man cuz his imagination has been brought to life just the way he wanted it to see for real, with top notch all round performances by writers and actors. I pity everyone, who seek for only epic battles from the season premire itself where as this story mainly focuses on politics and not fights, thus finding this boring.
Couldn't agree more. Some venomous characters are performed with so much excellence that we actually start to love them. Just hope old bugger will not die until he finishes last two books.

Person of interest must be the most interesting series fabricated by rich story line with much tense ever made in the recent era.
