Next episode (S01E08) is supposedly to be named "When Extremes Meet"

My speculation is that at the end of the episode 07 (The Aftermath), Chief Bei Fong tells to Tenzin that she's gonna resing and go after Aman outside the law.

So, Chief Bei Fong is an 'extreme' bending champion, the daughter of the legendary earth bender Toph. On the other hand Aman is an 'extreme' Equalist.

My speculation is that the next episode will be about the clash of these two.

It's gonna be an epic battle.

I am pretty sure Aamon is not an Energy bender. Have you noticed that every time Amon takes away bending he touches forehead where Light Chakra is located. Light chakra can be blocked by illusion. I think Amon has found a way to block(create an illusion) this chakra by physical means. And thats where Chi blocking comes in.

I didn't say he is an energy bender. I don't think he has any bending powers. That's why he's against the benders.

What I said was that Aman's father must have learnt the power to take away others bending away from avatar Aang. He must have passed on the power to his son Aman..

The power to take away bending is the Energy bending. The Lion turtle imparted Aang with this knowledge in the original series and thats how Aang was able to take away phoenix kings bending. I dont think Aang would pass down such dangerous knowledge to the world. But If we are to think he somehow did it, we can safely assume that he gave it to someone he trusted most.

Yes, It was first shown in the original series. Energybending predates both Avatar and four bending arts.
