How to stop Elakiri thread subscription emails in Gmail?

every time we comment on a thread we get subscribed to it and every time the thread gets updated we get an email about it... how can we stop it??

Default Thread Subscription Mode eka " no email notification " select karanna

for existing threads click on tha damn unsubscribe link or add make use of Gmail filters to delete them automatically.
