got bored and tired of looking at the sliver parts...black powder coat coming soon
And Machensini sent us cad drawings of the wheels they have in stock, everything is the same except the mounting holes for the front rotor...No big deal because I can just order a 250 front rotor or machine up my own adapter because they use adapters anyways...So the rims are on the way from Italy:yeah
Got some other little parts in too
chain guide so the chain dont eat up my rim/tire
Sprockets
blue valve stems
Blue hose kit
Acerbis SM front fender
Powder is done:yeah Was busy building a neon yellow bike for a friend today, so will start assembly tomorrow...Should have the fork tubes back from anodizing by Friday...Did the fork bottom white, and the tubes I stripped the original champagne anodized, then polished them and will be getting anodized black...
Was going to do straight gloss black, but ended up deciding to do that same color as my red stunt bike frame. Gloss black base with a big flake clear...
Inside its just looks like black, but in the sun it shimmers
and here the yellow thats been hurting my eyes all day
The bottoms are DLC coated black, the upper tubes were a champagne color anodize...Its the upper tubes that I am having re-anodized in black.
Put in some work today, and my buddy brought my anodized parts back...
Fork tubes came out sick!
rest of the anodized stuff, if you see the RSC lever on the right hand side, I polished that one before anodize....The other 2 on the left were done by RSC..Mine came out really glossy because I polished the shit out of it..LOL
Put the forks back together today, mounted them and put on the RSC
Decided I didnt like the blue sprocket, so I had it stripped. Polished it and that OEM sprocket and will have them anodized black tomorrow
And I got this delivered from my friend that works at my Kawi dealer today:yeah
going to cut a couple inches off it tonight
Chop chop......Brrrrrrrrrrrap brap!:yeah
Yeah Im the exact opposite I prefer the other style rims...
I saw this picture online and that is the rims and look I wanted....I also prefer to run tubeless, tubeless Alpina's were more expensive then my Marchenisni's
My eye surgery on Wed really fucked me up and sent me to emergency the next morning, but Im back on my feet and got to work on the bike a little today...
Slipper clutch installed
And my Kawsaki chain came in thanks to Hooligan on here...
2 more pieces of the puzzle arrived today
Little disappointed the Brembo master cylinder I ordered is back ordered
My eye surgery on Wed really fucked me up and sent me to emergency the next morning, but Im back on my feet and got to work on the bike a little today...
Slipper clutch installed

Another piece of candy delivered today
Mounted the master, with a small Brembo res, ladybird res mount, and some clear hose....Mocked up the front brake and sent the stock line to Speigler to make me a set of lines in white with black fittings...
Got my Cryca hand guards, had a little issue with fitment...Will need a short lever for my Brembo master, and had to space out the triple mount to fit around the master...Also had to tweak the bend a little to fit properly...Will also be having them anodized black..
And I got the rest of my Zeta parts that were back ordered
Engine plug kit, front sprocket cover, and clutch cable mount
Rear brake clevis, master cylinder cap, and oil filler plug
Here is some pics of the mods Im doing to make some 636 stunt pegs fit the KX
I bought some NDC short pegs, the pin size is smaller, and the width is larger on the KX so I had my friend turn some SS adapters for me. To bring them down to the right pin size and larger width
Then I made these little blocks that Im going to weld to the stock peg brackets to make the pegs sit at the right angle
And I also got the Brembo short lever in, and I machined a little slot into it. So if it does ever contact the ground it will snap off at the end...
My Spiegler lines came in, had the front custom made to fit my Brembo caliper and master. And finally my rims came in! They arrived late Friday so I would not have gotten them delivered to me until Wed, so I took a little trip up to pick them up from Tony at Blue Streak Racing in Embro this afternoon...Since Marchensini wouldnt make me set for the KX450 I bought a set they had left over for an older KX250, they sent me CAD drawings and everything looked to be an exact fit except the front rotor mounting adapter. And I was right, all I have to do is machine up a new adapter to accept the 450 rotor. Now the next problem is Braking after 2-1/2 months of having my front rotor on order, decide to tell us just now that they aren't going to make the front rotor anymore...THANKS! So Tues Im going to rush order a Brembo or Braketech rotor, whatever is in stock....Oh and I need to pick up some rubber.....
Worked on some of the finishing touches tonight, to be ready for riding next weekend hopefully.
Here you can see the slight difference of 9mm diameter for the rotor adapter, my friend is going to machine me a new one this week
I also modified some stuff, added bar end sliders, machined up some spacers for axle sliders, and fit the handgurads....Will have them all anodized black when the rotor bracket is done
