SLT ADSL 512kbps අන්ලිමිටඩ් LATEST SITUATION AND WHAT WE CAN DO ABOUT IT !
So today my adsl line got really slow and after reading few threads and looking for info I came to know about the 40GB limit
So I called slt call center and guess what after checking my information the chick who answered the phone told me that I used more than 40gb for this month and now connection will be slowed down to 64kbps
and will be reset back in 1st November.So I asked where the hell is prior notice to customers and she was speechless 
I got angry and kinda shouted little at her in decent language so she cannot complain 
and then asked for the managers email ID so I can send him a nice email
Anyway the way its going now I doubt we will ever get the true unlimited connection back.BUT I don't think 40GB is reasonable at all considering this connection was unlimited(at least what we paid for).But if we all unlimited 512kbps users unite(at least 80-100 users) and ask for at least 50-60GB bandwidth per month instead 40GB then there's a chance we can actually get it or 50GB at least.So guys email these guys constantly
specially spam the SLT guys inbox daily nonstop
