That's where you're wrong bro. It gets better. I just finished the series. The ending wasn't what I expected but not a total disappointment.

Last Resort :

Pilot is superb. But I sense its gonna be bad as it continues. Its hard to maintain the quality of the story for a series like this.

The Last Resort

Intriguing episode but it felt a little rushed since they had squeezed so many intense scenes in to a 40min episode. I would be delighted to see a 13 episode season of this more. But don't think it will run more than that (budget concerns), unless they somehow manage to get extremely high ratings.

No I've not seen Flashforward. Anyhow BlackMirror is returning for a second season on 11th February.(I think you loved first season)

I lost interest the second I realized that detective chick is part of the cult. Plus the second episode was poorly laid out compered to the pilot which had good pace and suspense. And all that teenage drama...sigh
