AFAIK, sampath bank is already doing this (didn't withdraw from a counter in a while).

dont lie macho, sampath dont charge for over the counter withdraws.

I guess you have to be extremely careful in making payments online. Recently I had a nasty experience with BOC online banking system. I made a payment and it was duplicated. When I immediately requested for a reversal of the payment so duplicated, they just gave a wide berth to me and never replied to my frantic emails. Their software is faulty and their IT team, as it appears, are not so competent, as it goes with most of the government institutions. If somebody can recommend a bank with a good online service I will be most thankful.

I can assure u that commercial bank online system is the best secured system in these days. they have taken prudent steps to mitigate all types of risks
