Thanx a lot machan. Have you engage in any wholesale import? Im fond of knowing more about this matter machan. If that part is accomplished, what is the procedure in srilanka? If i need to buy a bulk of some items it is useless to ask sellar to ship them seperately. At the same time there is an issue number of items will be mentioned on the parcel. So will i recieve it to home or will it be get stuck at postoffice or custom? If so what is the percentage will i have to pay as duty fee? What is wire transfer and how does it work?

1 always remember Alibba got so many fake sellers and its a paradise for frauds, so when u paying from here, TT or any other method u never know will they ship them or not, also what they show us is not the item they ship in most case, same time there are good sellers around, if u want to spend 1000usd or more its a risky deal, yes we do import wholesale but we know sellers we buy in person, have met them, visited their companies and always in touch, regarding the customs if items get detained u have to go to seeduwa (DHL, FEDEX, Aramex) then they will open the parcel and tell u the tax (can bribe easily) also when seller ships ask him to attach an under value invoice

TT aka wire Transfer is the only legally money sending method in SL, u have to get sellers TT info and go to a bank, fill a form and bank will transfer the money to sellers account, the negative factor is when u go to clear the items customs ask u for TT endorsement sheet so they can see u under valued or not, then after u clear the items u have to take a document from customs and go to the bank get it chopped, this is the legal method,

if u bribe custom they wont ask for the TT endorsement but bank will be the issue, also there are illegal TT senders in SL who do the job for u but they dont send small amounts, 5000usd or more, maybe 3000 or more.
