Utter disgrace as to my school and as a whole to community of teachers.
This is the problem of "godayo" coming to teach in Colombo schools... they can't handle the prestige and the heritage that was handed down to them through years of careful cultivation of such by former great educators !
It's a shame to see that many great school facing the same situation on either in grand or minor scale... another example would be "Devi Balika" which is now run by a stupid ass "godaya" principle who can only relate to the janitor staff than to the actual high grade teachers in there.
Pity how this country's education system had gone into a total bust with the intervention of politics where not necessary.

what did you mean by godayo??? is it because she is not from colombo or greater colombo????
well,as i see, the problem is in the attitudes of the people. If you call her "godey" by referring to where she comes from, there are hell of a lot of Colombo people who are tarnishing the name of this school,(hope i dont wanna mention the names here, where as u know 'em well already)
everyone blame her,but did any of you think of the problem she has faced????i bet NO
I believe it's a disgrace to the school but, Can you define "godaya", did you born from an elephant ass ...

"GODAYA" word doesn't define anyone spoken to. It only defines the person who said it. How narrow his view should be to define someone as GODYA, and assume him or herself as NON-GODAYA.![]()
i answered that statement about two or three times now.. go look.. have a field day with it and do trudge back if you need more wise words from Confucius !
dick

Somehow I seems to have missed all the fiasco and the drama !.. shame.. but.. better late than never.. so here goes....
There is a way to handle anything that this world can throw at you. Climbing to a roof of a building to protest against a transfer is a the cheap., labour class way of protesting to a decision.
And what the fuck is wrong with a transfer.. she's not transferred to Hell of Jaffna.. she is transferred to a Greater Colombo school.
again.. you cannot say "NO" to an official transfer.. what kind of a lame thinking is that you would get on top of a fucking roof and make it stop?
Please !!.. she's just a educated.. old.. but never an intelligent stupid moron whom for our sheer bad luck became a teacher !
stupid bitch.

for your information mate,if you are a true Royalist, you would never make such idiotic statements, now now i suspect your educational background, lolas scurvy would say "Ridila" ...
Okey., Mr. Malith... Do please enlighten me on the sheer Plight of her distress and pain that she had endured ..... !
Please do tell.. I really like to listen to what sort of a pain a person would go through on getting a transfer to a school just 5 km's away !.. please.. by all means be my guest and tell me.
Btw. Regarding the Godaya statement !
Bitch please !.. I have all the bragging rights to point my finger ! I sincerely do. as they say.. "if you got it.. flaunt it"![]()
btw., much of the "godaya" word effects on how you carry you self among the community or a crowd mate... and climbing on to a roof top of my school to protest against a transfer doesn't give you much points to your balance sheet mate !
Come on man. Just because you were born in a wealthy family and brought up in Colombo and attended a leading school doesn't mean you can call people godaya, leaning heavily on the fact that they are not from Colombo.
If you are talking about matter of conduct, we are all godayas in a matter of way. Because no body is perfect in that matter. And just now you proved that you are also a godaya by calling me a "dick" hiding behind a computer.
I do not accept the actions taken by the teacher. It is a disgrace to the school. But the question is about you being narrow minded enough to say "This is the problem of "godayo" coming to teach in Colombo schools" So do you mean it is ok for these kind of behaviors in schools outside Colombo? Don't you think you are being discriminative to people outside Colombo?
I myself was born and raised in Colombo. And I also attended a leading school in Colombo. But most of the better teachers I knew were from outside Colombo. Because Colombo covers only a small part of the country. So geography is not a factor.
Further more I like the humble ways, traditional values and Srilankan prestige radiating from outside Colombo. And you said you have enough things to show and flaunt around calling others godaya. I really doubt that. Because a real person with prestige and tradition usually wouldn't be this narrow minded. Even though in your perspective I have many things to flaunt around about being posh Colombo citizen, I like to see myself as a humble godaya rather than calling others godaya. Food your thoughts.
From a godaya.![]()
