Thank you very much for the information.. :):)

I've seen some local shops other than the dealers provide very good deals on same models with warranty..
Eg. I was offered Samsung 46L6400 for Rs. 170k wth one year warranty and LG 55LM6700 for Rs. 240k
Which are very good prices considering the company prices..

Can you provide more info on active and passive 3d feature which I'm little confused on..

For what I know LG provide cinema 3d where the tv glass is 3d and when you move the 3d also moves with you. But Samsung stays where it is and 3d is a combination with 3d glass and tv screen both.

Other hand samsung 3d glass need to be charged where as LG glass doesnt need to as in cinemas.

Guys Please share information on this. Great help and thanx in advance.

samsung say passive 3d not supporting 1080p and LG says it does. And LG says active 3d make the picture looks dark, and some say they can see the shutter even at 120Hz :P
LG says active 3d glass is a mess, samsung has very light weight glass with watch batteries which weighs/looks almost same like passive 3d glass. samsung says LG's passive glass has some picture loss and their active glass always sync with TV. Lg's passive is not exactly what you see in theaters.
so list goes on. i can't remember all of them now.

So better visit both showrooms and play your content with their TVs. Don't trust reviews. Buy what feels good to you.

Mostly samsung promoting active 3d glass and supported tvs and LG promote passive 3d support.

samsung smart tv features are bit ahead of LG but not much you can gain as an average user.

so look for price and which 3d mode you want. like active 3d or passive 3d
In SL samsung is cheaper with all those offers, LG not that much with Abans proprietary dealership. Anyway check 4 your self and ask for deals, all those TV sellers got huge margins.

    උට හරියට කියපන් බන්,, samsung ද LG ද කියල....
    උබකියුවොත් මුන් TCL උනත් ගන්නව.

    True machan ...

Ultra HD ekak ma ganin, ewwa lankaawe thiyeeda danne na

But we are still using avi and 720ps mostly...
    1080p s rarely ..
So ultra hd tv wouldn't have much impact neda ???:rolleyes:

However Samsung Galaxy Note 3 4G version has ultra hd video recording capability ...:yes::yes:
