Makoto Shinkai is back to his usual theme of personal relationships with his latest movie, The Garden of Words. Absolutely stunning scenery is used again and this time its based on a real park.
The story is simple, yet touching and very realistic. Classic Shinkai all the way.

This is based on the Manga of the same name but the anime covers only a few of the books in the series. This is not the typical run of the mill high school romance anime/harem anime as, for one, its a Studio GAINAX product. If that alone isnt enough to convince you, then check this : its originally directed by the legendary Hideaki Anno!

The story is superb. And that credit goes to the Manga creator as the Gainax team didnt change the story much. Sometimes they even used direct scans of the manga and the dialog. The story focuses on teen relationships but the main characters are not perfect. Infact they are flawed. Its funny as it has some excellent comedy as well as the usual standard high school anime tropes (quirky characters) but the core stories are very interesting as well as the characters. Its a short anime as it has 24 or 25 episodes.
It has by far the most romantic and beautiful sex scene ever in an anime, IMHO.
Definitely worth watching.

Steins;Gate is about a group of friends who have customized their microwave into a device that can send text messages to the past. As they perform different experiments, an organization named SERN, who has been doing their own research on time travel, tracks them down and now the characters have to find a way to avoid being captured by them.

මේක dark theme එකක් තියන anime එකක්. episodes 13 යි. ඒ උනාට හිතට වදින කතාවක් තියෙන්නේ. බොහොම දුක හිතෙන අවසානයක් තියෙන්නේ. පර්යේෂණයක ප්රතිපලයක් වන ගැහැණු ළමයෙක්ට vector කියන බලය ලැබෙනවා. මේ බලයෙන් ඕනෑම දෙයක් හිතේ බලයෙන් කපන්න පුළුවන්. මෙයාව හිර කරලා තියාගෙන හිටපු lab එකේ ආරක්ෂකයෝ බොහොම දරුණු විදිහට මරල එතනින් පැනගන්න පුළුවන් වෙනව. නමුත් එතැනදී වෙන අනතුරකදී මෙයාගේ මතකයන් නැති වෙලා පොඩි ළමයෙක්ගෙ මානසිකත්වයක් ලැබෙනව. කතාව තියෙන්නේ මෙයාව හදපු අය මෙයාව ආයිත් අල්ලගන්න කරන සටන හා මෙයාගේ පරණ මතකයන් යලිත් මතු වනවාත් සමගම එතෙක් මෙයාව ආරක්ෂා කරපු අයව එයාව හොයාගෙන එන අයගෙන් ආරක්ෂා කරගන්න කරන සටන ගැන. Anime වල තියන දරුණු මරණ අතරින් මේකෙ තියන ජවනිකා දරුණුම ඒවා අතරට වැටෙනවා. ඒක නිසා පොඩි අයට කොහෙත්ම සුදුසු නෑ.
