over charge karanna epa. normal 100% is enough.

and later every now and then let it discharge to 5% before charging again

There are plenty of myths about recharging Li ion batteries in a phone or laptops for the 1st time.It's not a problem about charging as long as you charge it to 100% or less... Yes it will switch off automatically if 100% but as long as it's connected to the laptop the electricity bill get increased ( not by usual amount, but still yes it will) Also in order to save the battery life recharge the battery when it's 5% - 10%
