USS Kidd sent to Indian Ocean after ‘indication’ of Malaysian jet crash
“We have an indication the plane went down in the Indian Ocean,” the official said, to ABC.
That comes on the heels of a report that found the plane may actually have flown between four and five hours after it disappeared from radar.
The announcement also comes just after Malaysian authorities said they expanded their search to the Andaman Sea for missing plane parts and asked for India to lend a helping hand. The plane was carrying 239 passengers when it went missing.

Pentagon officials say missing MH370 flight crashed into Indian Ocean
A search by two Vietnamese aircraft responding to information provided by a Chinese satellite has failed to locate objects suspected of being wreckage from missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370.
Aircraft repeatedly circled the area over the South China Sea but were unable to detect any objects, according to a Reuters journalist, who flew aboard a Antonov 26 cargo plane for three hours as part of the search.
Vietnamese and Malaysian planes were scanning waters where a Chinese government agency website said a satellite had photographed three “suspicious floating objects” on Sunday.
The location was close to where the plane lost contact with air traffic control.
The search for the missing jetliner expanded on Wednesday to cover a swathe of Southeast Asia, from the South China Sea to India’s territorial waters, with authorities no closer to explaining what happened to the plane or the 239 people on board.
During a new press conference, this morning, the Malaysian Transport Minister denied all latest reports on the missing plane possible location, including the Chinese satellite photos, allegedly, according the Minister, “released by accident” or the reports from The Wall Street Journal that indicate that the aircraft could have fled for several hours after disappearing from radars on Saturday.
The official assured that “Malaysia has nothing to hide” as the search efforts will continue to be focused on the South China Sea, the minister told reporters.

everyone is hiding the truth from us ban , they say bullshits to mislead the people and cool down the situation , yako 239 passengers is a huge amount, every person in the world is watching what is happening and people will afraid of flying over seas and it will affect on all air line traveling
