How do you think academics form their opinion about a university in a different country?


Oh so I will get to know the difference eh? What a bold and ridiculous assumption to make without knowing anything about my situation at all.

Ok so now you are saying that the QS ranking is lying eh? So they are just bluffing right?

I have facts and figures.I have seen people fwho have gone to one of the worst universities in their countries but still have selected to top universities like MIT,UC Berkly and Cornell etc for postgraduate studies.So you have no right to say that "Previous University matters"
So I got your point.You are basically a typical gov university narrow minded one.

So anyway I don't want to create a fight or carry and argument too much.So you believe what you think.I'll stop arguing with you here.No worries.

I see some troll activity. Soon this will drag down to the Public vs Private war. Better stay out of it. If the local uni. people say their instituions are ok then its ok.

But they must understand that we have a right to inqury about the quality of their institution because they are run on our money.

They should be more open to criticism. That I believe is a quality of an educated person.

To this point,there are almost 2000 viewers.at least if 10 of them understood the real situation, I would be glad.

I really do not say don't go to gov university.but you should understand the situation before committing 5/6 years of your life.

Yeah bro I know it is not easy as said.Yeah I know it is in their DNA,some people think if you do not go to gov university that is the end of your higher education career even if you have other opportunities.

but hopefully some people will get to know the truth.if they still do not change after seen this then yeah we can't help it.

And yeah private universities are a good option but it should be well maintained and up to the world standards.

No private universities කියල බෝඩ් උස්සගෙන අව්වේ කර වෙන උන් art fac උන්ද දන්නෙත් නැහැ. gov uni වල තීන සමහර jobless degree ,job එකක් වත් ගන්න පුළුවන් විදිහට හදා ගන්න අව්වේ කර උනා නම් කමක් නැහැ. No private universities කියල කවදාවත් නොවෙන දෙයක් ගැන කෑ ගහනවා පව් .අනිතිමේදී අවුරුදු 4ක් ඇතුලේ ඉදන් ඇවිත් අයෙත් පාර දිගේ යනවා job නැති නිසා
