$199 වෙන phone එකක් $700 විතර විකුනනකොට ලැබෙන profit එකෙන් ඔයවගේ ඒවා 10ක් හදන්න බැරිය. market එකේ තව තව phone බැස්සහම (LG, NOkia,Sony,Samsung....) වගේ $300 කට විතර හොද quality (equivalent quality, $200 to build+ 100$ profit) ඒවා අවහම තමයි, තරු විසිවෙන්නේ. It is a matter of time.

I am happy to see that lot of manufactures now entering competitively this market in last few years. That is a very good sign. Gradually smart phone is just as normal phone with low price with increased competition.

Technology saturates. That is why many manufacturers move to smart watch and other stuff. People do not like too much technology/complicated phones. people want simple but powerful phone.

For example, if the battery capacity of the phone can be increased by 2 times, that is what people really want/appreciate. Not sophisticated finger print scanner! (I am not saying it is not useful)
