    where I wanna be
None of photos or statues. Islamic doctrine teaches that these aren't allowed. As to art, we have decorative art for the names of Allah.

    Like this:
    Featured_99_names_of_Allah.jpg

Allah is over the heavens. He is outside creation. He does not mix with creation.
Although his presence is not in this world..his knowledge, sight, hearing and power encompasses all things.

That's simple mate. No one can create any painting or statue because no one hasn't seen Allah.
Who every made that story said that is restricted. So no one can argue with that. I don't know why people believe that.
If someone says killing animal for god is a good thing to do, I think that person is mentally ill :(:(

why some individuals have deformities from birth ? Kindly don't give nonsensical responses for this, I have seen Dr Zakir Naiks Response to this Question, I ought to specify that, I don't acknowledge such Illogical and ridiculous answers from you, the Answer ought to be something Logical and well balanced...

Well...look at the Buddhist explanation for it. Samsara. Karma.

The children have defects because of what they did in their previous life. They did bad and evil, so they are born in a bad way and state and at a bad circumstance.
Imagine telling someone "You are born in this way because of what you did in your previous life" and that person doesn't remembers what they did in their previous life. It's depressing, but that's what Buddhism tells them, AFAIK.

There could be many biological reasons for the deformities. It's mainly caused if the baby has faulty genotypes (bad genes)..so they aren't formed in the proper way. This is very common when the parents are of close family. Example: If a brother and sister marries each other...then there is around at most 25% chance of the baby being disabled.

As for the divine islamic reason for children and people being born that way for themselves and their family... I haven't seen Zakir Naik's answer, but I guess it's the typical islamic answer. And this answer is similar to the answer as to why some people are born gay...or willed by God to be gay. (I'm not saying that being gay = being disabled)

Islam believes that life is a test of faith. God tests us to different levels and rewards us accordingly. A person who is born disabled has a severe test. If they keep bearing patience and having faith in God they will be rewarded greatly. Likewise for their parents. If the parents, forexample, dumps the child then they will be punished in the next life. If they take good care of the child then they will be rewarded tremendously.

If you look at life with the lens that life is a test then everything makes sense. And it's the best answer possible to even soothe the disabled person.

The secular/atheist answer would be "urr it's some biological reason....tough luck..live your life in the best way possible...", which if I was disabled, would be a hard thing to swallow.

Islam and other Abrahamic religions provide the best answer to this. If you aren't satisfied with the answer then it's no reason to find fault with Islam. If it doesn't make sense then tough luck. We aren't muslims because this makes sense to us...there are muslims which don't like Islam's answer but they are muslims.

    No. It's not that.

No person living today have seen Allah...but the thing is, you can't see Allah.
Allah isn't like a person living up high in the sky...where you can imitate by drawing a painting..or creating or statue or idol or whatever. Nothing we create or could create could be befitting to represent Allah save his names.

Islamic doctrine teaches that Allah is Light. And there is a veil between Allah and creation. If this veil is removed, it would destroy everything except Allah. So we will never be able to see Allah directly. It's impossible for us. At least in this earthly life.

Who every made that story said that is restricted. So no one can argue with that. I don't know why people believe that.

People believe in Islamic teachings because they believe in Islam...they believe in the messenger Muhammed.
So don't mix the two up. You don't know why people believe in Islamic teachings. The answer is because they believe in Islam.
So do you know why people believe in Islam? They are lunatics or something?

If someone says killing animal for god is a good thing to do, I think that person is mentally ill :(:(

See....you think the person is mentally ill because they are killing animals for God. Killings animals (udhiyaa) is a God's command according to Islam. So if people believe in Islam they will follow this. So what's makes them mentally ill? Killing animals for god? or believing in Islam?

What you are implying is that only the mentally ill believe in Islam...and this is absurd. So this remains a subjective thing..and it's merely your opinion. You might think the person is mentally ill but the person doesn't think the same..he thinks he is doing it for God. So the difference is whether you believe in the same God or not. And you imply that if the person believes in that God then he's mentally ill.

Buddhism tells them that because that is the eternal truth. There is no shame hiding it. However Buddhism doesn't discourage people by saying the cause of their suffering. It also encourages them to take corrective measures to do what is best in order to be happy.

If gods will the gay people to be born and if gods wills that thieves to be born why punish them? It is the god that made them like that. Why should he tell us to punish them? Pretty stupid ne?

Islam believes that life is a test of faith. God tests us to different levels and rewards us accordingly. A person who is born disabled has a severe test. If they keep bearing patience and having faith in God they will be rewarded greatly.

Isn't it really unjust that people are tested in different ways? Why can't god just give equal test to all of us. I have heard that many Muslims compare the god's test to school exam. But in the exams we are all given equal test papers. Is god that dumb?

Likewise for their parents. If the parents, forexample, dumps the child then they will be punished in the next life. If they take good care of the child then they will be rewarded tremendously.

No for following a crony called Muhammad like brainless zombies.

Well then Buddhism has got it very very wrong. That isn't the cause. And the truth is subjective then. Your truth isn't my truth.

Can I ask you something...why do you think that Buddhism is true? Not as philosophy but as a belief system? How do you know that doctrines samsara and karma is true? Who told you that?
If (Gautama) Buddha told you that...then where did he get that from?

If gods will the gay people to be born and if gods wills that thieves to be born why punish them? It is the god that made them like that. Why should he tell us to punish them? Pretty stupid ne?

There is a difference in being a thief and being gay. You can choose whether to steal and be a thief but you can't choose whether to be gay or not. So God doesn't "will that thieves be born". God has given us a type of free will which is somewhat independent from the will of God.

So I could at most say that God makes people gay. In Islam being gay isn't a sin. It's doing gay acts such as sodomy which is a sin. So God doesn't punish people for being gay (which is not a choice) but does punish people for being thieves (they chosed it)

Isn't it really unjust that people are tested in different ways? Why can't god just give equal test to all of us. I have heard that many Muslims compare the god's test to school exam. But in the exams we are all given equal test papers. Is god that dumb?

That school exam thing..that's a weak analogy.

It's impossible for all of us to be tested the same way. For example one person might choose to do evil and oppress people. So what happens to those oppressed people? Are the oppressed people to be tested in the same way as well? Then how come they are being oppressed?

So you get the point...if everyone is tested in the same way then that would mean restricting choice. People won't be able to willingly inflict evil on others.

Oh yeah then the test is a sweet thing to swallow.:lol:

It isn't. I was comparing the answers provided by other religions to that of Islam. The answer provided by Buddhism is hard to swallow. And Islam too gives us guidelines and stuff in how to live a happy life. It's just that muslims nowadays have forgotten that Islam is a religion of love and mercy.

Because their is no choice in Islam. Only following orders. Anyone can do that even animals. If there is god and he has given us brains. Then he might expect us to use it.

Look..you have got this totally wrong.

We are free to choose whether we want to follow and believe in Islam or not. And for this..the Quran tells us to use our brains. In fact it's all over in the Quran...where the Quran repeatedly tells us to use our brains, intelligence and reasoning to ponder about Islam and other religions.

But once we choose Islam then we should follow certain commands. And in this case, we usually have little choice. But there is nothing stopping us from disobedience. We could choose to follow the orders or not. But once we believe in Islam...we become muslims..and muslims usually follow the orders because they want to please their lord, their maker.

Oh don't lie. If I was born into a Muslim family I would have being a Muslim. There is no choice in that. Even so I cannot denounce Islam if I happened to be a Muslim? So where is the choice?

Thats because I don't believe in an Almighty God (ur answer is based on Gods will) hence I can't accept the Islamic Answer for this Issue, but I do respect all faiths.....

I have confidence in nature and its law, and that's what we called Karma, and that's nothing to do with a God,that's the Universal law..

Well Gautama Buddha has said to attained the Nirvana. So that is the reason of him being knowledgeable about the Sansara (Karma). Anyway the Gautama Buddha's story is much more believable than Muhammad being stalked by Gabriel in a cave.

How do you know he attained nirvana? How do you know that nirvana actually exists? Has someone experienced it? (without the use of alcohol, drugs and whatnot)?
And how do you know that it wasn't an evil demon that gave Buddha this knowledge?

And you have got it wrong again. Muhammed received revelation all through out his last 23 years of life....and it wasn't just that incident in the cave.

How do you know one cannot choose between being gay and straight. Are you gay too?

By simple reasoning. Can you choose to be gay or straight? Can a straight person decide to switch? It's just non sense.

And besides, why would people choose to be gay? After all the problems that they will have to face?

And no, I am not gay.

Even then why god tell us to punish the Gay people if god wills it that way?

Allah doesn't tell us to punish gay people.

Oh really. Being gay is not bad but the act is only bad?:rofl::rofl:

Yes. Sins are actions, not feelings or state.

Feeling jealous isn't a sin in Islam...but that feeling manifesting into action is.

And does Buddhism teach that "being gay" is a sin? Even when it is not a choice?

How do we tell the difference? How we charge any one gay if we cannot see them fcuk? :baffled::baffled::baffled:

Just like in the case of adultery, sodomy also needs 4 witnesses in order to be punished through a sharia court.. This means it's almost impossible to prove unless it's done in a public place.
So if these acts are done in private, then the proper Islamic state won't punish people. But in public yes.

If it is impossible to test us equally why then give universal guide book (Quran) to be followed? Isn't it unjust?

    I don't get it.
We are all people on this Earth and our source of guidance is the Quran. If you die without hearing about Islam then Allah will test you in the Day of Judgement. If you hear about true undistorted Islam and reject it, then you become a disbeliever and will be punished.

Does god really need us to punish people on his behalf? LOL what kind of god is that?

I didn't say that. I imply that God won't stop people oppressing others. Or otherwise he is restricting choice.

If we choose to be bad. Isn't it what god wills? So isn't god responsible for us being bad?

No. God doesn't will anyone to do bad. It's we who choose our nature...just like how God chosed his nature and names. We have some of his spirit.

If a God commands you to kill animals of his own creation, is he a peaceful god?

Whether a not killing animals obstructs peace is a subjective issue. You may think killing animals does obstruct peace..I may think otherwise.

And yes, I do not think that killing animals for sacrifice obstructs peace...because I believe it's God's command and I believe God is peaceful. So your argument is circular...and thus meaningless for me.
