The Maze Runner (2014)

An awesome movie and it had a lot of familiar faces as well. This movie reminded me of another movie I've seen earlier called "City of Ember (2008)". They are not the same but the gist of both stories felt a bit similar to me. You can watch this movie with your whole family. I hope there will be a movie about phase two soon.

Story

"Thomas wakes up in an elevator, remembering nothing but his own name. He emerges into a world of about 60 teen boys who have learned to survive in a completely enclosed environment, subsisting on their own agriculture and supplies. A new boy arrives every 30 days. The original group has been in "The Glade" for two years, trying to find a way to escape through the Maze that surrounds their living space. They have begun to give up hope. Then a comatose girl arrives with a strange note, and their world begins to change. There are some great, fast-paced action scenes, particularly those involving the nightmarish Grievers who plague the boys."........IMDB

Sin City A Dame to Kill For (2014)

This movie might not make a whole lot of sense if you haven't seen "Sin City (2005)" first. So if you are interested in watching this movie, be sure to watch the 2005 movie first. This straight up action movie consists of a lot of nude scenes of Eva Green not that I'm complaining but it would be wise to avoid watching it with family.

I can't believe I didn't watch this before . The ending wasn't what I thought it would be, it was better . Would you choose to transcend if you get the chance? I, for one, have conflicting thoughts about it after watching this movie.

Story

"Dr. Will Caster (Johnny Depp) is the foremost researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence, working to create a sentient machine that combines the collective intelligence of everything ever known with the full range of human emotions. His highly controversial experiments have made him famous, but they have also made him the prime target of anti-technology extremists who will do whatever it takes to stop him. However, in their attempt to destroy Will, they inadvertently become the catalyst for him to succeed-to be a participant in his own transcendence.
