If you're buying from sri lanka make sure you get 3 years warranty and make sure the vendor got it through from Electro Chavel Lanka. They are the authorised people for those here in sri lanka so you can claim your warranty from them.
For the seagate I dunno a good shop to buy one but found one in one of the shops in unity plaza.

Techzone, How about this shop?

Techzone doesn't have WD or seagate back up plus slim.
And that is not a good place to buy eloctronic stuff from.

Sadz digital and winsoft get their external hard drives through electro chavel lanka. with 3 years warranty. buy from one of those shops. I brought from winsoft.
