Dear Mr Engineer,
I can be agree with you since we are having lot of negative people like you who made others mind sets also negative. This is not a good place to arguing and Im so worried about your guiding to this original thread creator. He just asked about past papers not about comparison between NDES, NDT or HND. If he got the chance to join with NDT he may never asked about NDES thats the truth. so as a NDES holder your responsibility is not criticizing about the week point. You have to involve to give a good guide to avoid such a week points if you see with NDES and their students. Seems like you are from telco industry. lol... thats may be the issue. As my experience it is very hard to survive in this field. And dont think that you are the only engineer here who graduated. There are lot of engineers out there who are having NDES as the 1st step. The problem is they are may be out of your vision. Anyway this is not the place to talk about your position or your degree. If you cant help here you are welcome to stay without giving negative thoughts about NDES.
I must say something about your previous reply also. According to my knowledge, after 2008 there is less demand in telco field for new job opportunities. Thats is not an issue of NDES or IET. And I heard that 2008 batch is the luckiest batch after while in NDES history over the mid y2k by having chance to join with SLT, CEB, etc... and with compared to NDT and HND, our percentage is higher than them for new recruitment. So you may think about where is the issue, NDES or IET or your field or YOUR ATTITUDE?
You have pointing some example in telco industry in your message. Im proud to say that I was in that company and I had nice experiences there. Treating for TOs such a way is not good, yes I agree. But you are not a merit engineer to compare with them. As you said you have developed some stage in your life. Congratulation..!! but dont be selfish to say that NDES is the worst. Doing NDES is just a 1st step be an engineer then everyone have to follow the path. And I must say that doing private university degrees or having B.Eng is not the best our diplomats can do. Being a engineer at some small private company vs a well reputed company is different a thing. Anyway good luck to you Mr.Eng...!! just do this help for NDES. Pls stay away by talking about it.

100% True....:love::love:

    Dear Brother,

    I am a past student of the IET and I am in my career best in telco industry. IET/NDES is best, when we were studying. But after 2008 intake, quality was dropped. Now industry little by little reject NDES pass outs. The intake procedure, lecturing materials, are outdated. and management is not focusing on updating and improving on those. Even management thinks, the students are diplomats, there final achievement should be a Technical Officer or technician. not to be an professional engineer.
    So, Please try on NDT or HNDE, which is highly demanded. Specially NDT.

    If you can not get anything from it please keep away.THere are many more who have built their profile with NDES ..

    Malli job gena denaganna oonenam gasset, observer , topjob balanna mokakkda demand kiala.

    every year I have lot of pms asking NDES past papers in Elakiri...
