Take a week away from fb,You'll feel how alive you are.I remember back in 2004 when fb introduced there were only like 50 sri lankan people on this site.Generally people were more happy with their lifes back then.Nobody had the mania of taking photos of everything they do or the drive to constantly make them look better.If a girl boots you the probability of seen her again in your life is very less.Much less depression.But now the opposite.No wonder people getting more and more depressed.

I don't think FB created a need, merely exploited our innate nature..

People want to be connected with others, though we can never understand another, though we will never be understood the way we would like to, still this need to be seen by others the way we see ourselves is quite overpowering.

just another gimmick of human kind to veil the great big pit of emptiness upon which our equally empty lives are based

and you are right..somebody was going to capitalize on that and somebody did..

Yeah the Facebook isn't an appropriate medium to even communicate with each other.It doesn't let us do so with all the pointless chatter & clatter going through it.I think it is one of the worst things to ever come out from cyberspace ever!!

මොන මගුලක් ද..මේවා උන්ට උන් උන් කතා කරන වෙලාවට කතා කරගන්න පුළුවන් දේවල් නේ? ලෝකෙට පෙන්න ලව් කිරිල්ලක් තමා තියෙන්නේ අද කාලේ..හැමදේම එහෙමයි...පඩයක් ගියත් FB දානවා...
