I think it is carved in sinhalese minds that incurring expenses is a sin..against our simple sinhalese ways..if they spend big money on something that is not absolutely necessary for their survival, they're conditioned to feel guilty..wut's even more amazing is that they think it's heroic to survive that way on so little

People think i'd do this and that if I was making this much..but the truth is no matter how much you make a month, you are never going to have enough..
you'll always have expenses to spend your entire salary on because you would tend to raise the standards up to which you'd been living with whatever more you may be making..
try making an 80 a month and getting a car on lease and living comfortablyyou'd know what I mean.
