Laptop වලට ඔය කියන තරම් අමාරු නැ OSX දාන්ඩ. ලැප් එකේ processer එකේ generation එක, GPU ඔක්කම හරියට බලාගෙන Clover, Unibeast වගේ bootloader එකකින් values ටික සෙට් කරලා bootable OSX එකක් හදාගන්ඩ පුළුවන් ලේසියෙන්ම (මේකට Mac install කරපු mecheine එකක් ඕනේ bootable එක build කරන්ඩ ). OSX එකේ dmg file එකත් ඕනේ.

මගේ ASUS X501 ලැප් එකට OSX (Yosemite) දානකොට issues solve කරන්ඩ tonymacx86 එකේ දාපු thread එකක් මේ තියෙන්නේ.

මේ තියන methods (clover / unibeast) වලින් bootable එකක් build කරන්ඩ පුළුවන් (උඹේ options select කරන්ඩ තියෙන්නේ )

3. Faster Performance compared to PC (rendering)

Not true, Its only with adobe premiere pro vs final cut X. Final cut X is faster only with onboard graphics. Just because its using intel onboard graphics (quicksync feature) Adobe not supporting onboard intel quicksync.
You can use any other windows encoding software and get quicksync support for windows. I think adobe will add quicksync support in future versions.

මම කරලා තියනවා බන් ඩෙස්ක්ටොප් නම් ලොකු අවුලක් නැහැ (even i posted this some times ago http://www.elakiri.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1586209). ගොඩක් ලැප් මාරම අමාරුයි ගොඩදාගන්න
උඹගෙ ලැප් එක ගොඩක් හැකින්ටොශ් කරන්න ලෙේසි මොඩල් එකක්. අනික ගොඩක් ගෙේමින් වගෙ ලැප් හරිම අමාරුයි මොකද Un-Common හාඩ්වෙයා නිසා

ඔව් මචන් එක ඇත්ත. ගොඩක් වෙලාවට recommend කරන්නේ Intel HD Graphics වගේ තියන laptops තමා. එත් MAC OS install කරද්දී issues ගොඩක්ම එන්නේ ASUS වල. tonymacx86 එකේ boot issues ගොඩක්ම වගේ ASUS related. ගොඩක් examples මන් දැකල තියන්නේ HP use කරලා install කරන tutorials.

You haven't checked the specs of those computers. That video comparing dual core onboard VGA windows ultrabook to a High end Macbook Pro with Quad core desktop processor + Dedicated high end VGA. Still cheap windows ultrabook is way faster in most of the tests.

Adobe Premiere is faster on Windows machines even with same config Macs.
Only Final Cut X is faster coz it uses intel onchip QuickSync and Adobe still not supporting it. Apple's Final Cut Pro was way outdated compared to Adobe Premiere for many years and finally they created new Final Cut Pro X from ground up. But PowerDirect like Windows editing software support QuickSync and way faster than all others.

point taken, still based on my experience with both PC & Mac rendering video, I still say Mac is ok

I had a quad core 2.6 PC (old)

and my mac is quad core 2.4 (i7)

not a good way to compare. but I've never had a good performance with PCS
