Ice and Fire has lot of meaning in these books and shows.

1. Jon Snow Son of a stark and a Targeryan
2 A battle between white walkers and Dragons.

Jon snow killed a white walker using a valyrian steel. So the mixture fire, snow and valyrian could kill a white walker

Bran can't change the past.
Applying something like that in the story will make it utter bullshit.
Because there have been people like him before him so even they could've gone to the past and have changed the things according to the way those people want.

Besides then the story would have no point.
It's like "ok we've published a freaking awesome story only to tell that it could be changed the way brandon wants at any time."

Time is a loop. Like the ouroboros serpent.

How bran will affect the story? Well he can see everything in the past so he can predit the outcomes of the events and mysteries that are hidden.
That's why I deem him as one of the most important characters to the main story.

I do not like the TV show. But there are some things that should not be crossed. I
t'll be a butterfly effect and the whole story will turn chaos.

What if the current events which occurs in Westeros are the results of the alterations and interactions initiated by previous time travelers .

Nevertheless , even I am not a big fan of time traveling. I think Martin should not involve time traveling in these books since it would make a mess out of the story

උඹට ඉංග්‍රීසී එක වැඩිය තේරෙන්නේ නෑ වගේ සිංහලෙන් රිවීව් එකක් යනව ඒකත් අරන් බලහන්.. Mad King burn them all කියල දඟලන්නේ..පොරට ඕන උනේ kings landing එකට ශොට් එක දෙන්න. පොර ඒ වැඩේ අහවර කරන්න කලින් ටයිවියන් ලැනිස්ටර් කින්ට ෂොට් එක දෙනව.

බ්‍රෑන්ඩ් ස්ටාර්ක් අතීතයේ උන සමහර සිදුවීම් වලට හේතූ වෙනවා. දැනට පෙන්වපු හොඳම උදාහරණයේ "Hodor" ඒ ඇරෙන්න ළමයි හදවපුව ඒව මේවා සීන් ඌ කරවන්න යන්නේ නෑ..
ඌ එන්නත් කලින් ඒ දේවල් වෙලා තියෙන්නේ..

මීට කලින් වතාවකුත් උඹ මගේ රෙප් කපල තිබුනා .රෙප් වලින් මොනව කරන්නද බං. GOT මම පලවෙනි ඉපිසෝඩ් එකේ ඉඳන් ආපු දවස් වල ඉඳන් බලන්නේ.. රිවීවිස් උනත් කියවනවා.. හොඳ රිවීව්ස් තියෙනවා බලහන්. ගොන් කතා නොකිය.

Using the time travel concept,may be Martin is trying to appease the fans by bringing back their favorite characters in the end

this is babyish. Why would he do that?
1. It will make story useless. I do not want to see another cinderalla story.
2. And the simple theory of butterfly effect. for an example, lets say somehow brandon saved ned. but he cannot forsee what'll happen after saving eddard.
So when he comes back to the present so many things would've changed. different people may die even including brandon and then there will be no brandon in the present. So likewise a small action will have larger consequences. Can't predit whether it'll be better or worse.
You simply do not Screw with time.


And martin never introduced a time travelling concept.
You only interpret by what you've seen in the tv show.

No it cannot happen.
Speaking in fairness to literature, it'll ruin the story. Adding sci fi stuff won't work well.

Speaking in science, I don't have an exact answer but I think that'll create different timelines without destroying the original. It's hard to think of this time travel bullshit. Very vivid.

And speaking of science including to ASOIAF, GRRM himself has told that the story does happen on earth. But more like a parellel universe

And again I say do not say it's time travelling. It is not.
It's more like watching a history movie. Or a documentary.
