SL passport preparation URGENT

මගෙ මල්ලිගේ passport එක හදිසියේ හදාගන්න වෙලා තියෙනවා... මෑන්ස් ඩොක්ටර්.. profession එකත් එක්කම passport එක හදාගන්න ඕන document මොනවද?

you have to carry both original and photocopy of SLMC registration certificate. all will be handedover back to you.

if your brother needs to mention his profession on his passport need to submit a proof document for his profession. (SLMC certificate etc.)

Only SLMC would do. As long as you submit the original SLMC reg plus the photocopy no need to certify. I got mine as a student and submitted the original student ID plus photocopy, didn't get it certified they hand over the documents back when you get the passport.

so the originals wont get returned until the passport is prepared (lets say someone uses the normal service). so the originals should be there with the dept until we get the passport?

Yes machan. If you go for the normal service, they send you the original documents along with the passport in an envelope (via register post).
