[Over 100 died] USA struck Syrian Army, allowing Islamic State group to advance.

Syria's military says the U.S.-led coalition struck its base in the eastern province of Deir el-Zour, allowing the Islamic State group to advance in the fiercely contested area.

There was no immediate comment from Washington. If confirmed, it would be the first time the coalition has targeted Syrian government forces.
In a statement Saturday, the Syrian military says the airstrikes caused casualties and damage to equipment, and enabled an IS advance on the hill overlooking the air base.

The statement calls it a "serious and blatant attack on Syria and its military" and "firm proof of the U.S. support of Daesh and other terrorist groups." Daesh is an Arabic acronym for IS.
Syrian President Bashar Assad's government views all those fighting against it as "terrorists," and has long accused the U.S. and other rebel supporters of backing extremists

This war not going to end soon & there will be no united Syria. Everyone is fighting for their own share.
SAA still full of shit. They are not brave enough to fight against rebels even they got best equipment. Look at recent rebel offensive in HAMA. Rebels captured large part of hama & lot of tanks & APC are left behind by SAA. Only effective force is Tiger force & now everybody request Tiger force since they have brave man to fight against rebels or isis.
Now Tiger force is separate in to few parts. One part remains in Aleppo & other part in HAMA. SAA now largely depends on Tiger force & that's too bad since if Tiger force loose just one battle, it will be huge moral damage.

SAA should kill all the commanders who are not brave enough to fight & replace with good ones.

I blame Russia for lack of CAS in Syria. I never heard good CAS in Syria except Palmyra against ISIS. It is understandable because of MANPADs. CAS is game changer. Recent reports suggest that Russia brings SU25 again with anti air defence update.
