I don't care for what Redline says most of the time either. But what is YOUR metric for comparing GPU brands? The more I read this thread, the more I realize lot of the advice here is based on personal preference rather than actual facts.
Palit is the worlds largest GPU manufacturer. They are known in the US as PNY. They own the Gainward and Galaxy brands as well.

If you read the article, lowest RMA rate for GPUs in all three occasions go to PNY or Gainward, both owned by Palit Microsystems.
The reason you hear less about Palit on popular tech sites is that they do not market under that brand name in the U.S. And they do not advertise as much as ASUS or MSI etc in the Asian region either. However, lack of advertising and marketing does not necessarily mean their products are bad.
