yes maybe keep it with tharanga for the moment, but he needs little charisma and action in the field. his bowling changes are bit negative and he does not seem to be proactive. mahela for eg. was a strategist, bit of a character and you can feel that vibe and authority in the field that there is a captain leading from front. both matthews and tharanga does not have that. to me one reason why SL was so consistent in last WCs to come to finals was mahela's involvement and sanga's presence backed by rational selection. if guys like dickwella de silva mendis can grow into such levels soon then SL can bring back the consistency they used to have. then players like matthews can be used to good effect to win matches with their talent.

lets hope for the best.
