its amazing to see china giving us USD $2.2M when countries like usa contributed only 15 million rupees. even a local businessman from colombo can donate that amount.

As a businessman I would say 15million is more than enough for usa. Sri Lanka always condemn US action and US is the biggest importer of the SL products. But SL still rely on China which is bargaining land. Of course China should give money to SL because their assets are in risk.

I think you should get you facts right , india was the first to respond , they sent a ship 2 ships within 2 days with aid.( including RHIBS wich are used in the south for rescue work.
