Red Dead Redemption 2 may not come to the PC
Red Dead Redemption 2 being one of the most hunted games for news has perhaps copped a small blow as Rockstar’s parent publisher Take-Two says it believes in the PC market but doesn’t know if Red Dead Redemption 2 will be on it.
During an earnings call today President Karl Slatoff said:
“It really depends on the title. Some titles are actually heavily weighted to PC, for example, Civilization and XCOM, [but] some titles are less weighted to PC,” he explained. “The great news is that the PC market is vibrant for us. It’s a great market. It’s a big market. It’s a core market.
“These are consumers who are highly engaged. It’s a predominantly digital market, which also removes friction in terms of ongoing engagement with the consumer. So for us, the PC market as a company is very important, very exciting, and something we focus on.”
According to GameSpot when the President was asked directly if Red Dead Redemption 2 would be coming to PC or not he replied with: “Any updates about any of our titles will come from our labels.”
Keep in mind Rockstar has no evidence at all to a possible sequel coming to PC so we can only keep our fingers crossed for maybe a reconsidered investment into the PC market.
Dynasty Warriors 9 heads west on PC, PS4 and Xbox One
Dynasty Warriors 9 heads west on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Koei Tecmo has announced. Previously the game had been confirmed for PS4 only. There's no release date yet.
Omega Force's latest takes the long-running series open-world for the first time. Players can follow the main storyline quests or spend time exploring China. Here's the official blurb from Koei Tecmo:"From the lush cedar woods and bamboo forests of Chengdu to the legendary Great Wall - the ongoing war will continue to rage along their journey.
Skirmishes, clashes, special side missions, and larger scale conflicts can be engaged at the player's will as they venture through far-reaching lands, allowing for a sense of freedom of choice for the player previously unfelt in previous Dynasty Warriors titles.
"These battles range from scouting missions to discover powerful enemy officers, to guerrilla actions to subdue messengers and scouts, to outright sabotage on enemy supply troops; success in these combat engagements offer great rewards and have an effect on future battles' difficulty."
