    He may have gone to US to revoke his US citizenship

    unlikely.....it will not be revoked even if he requests for it, till the cases against him against war crimes in the US courts are settled.....

    Revoking the US citizenship does not happen over night.....can take even 5 years or as long as the US governments wants....plus Gota will lose his pension,property in the US and any future travel plans to the US as he will need to apply for US visa after losing citizenship and the US doesn't usually grant visas to people who revoke their citizenship.

    So No....Gota will not revoke his US citizenship....ever....

    being president tops all these drawbacks. he woudnt really care about it. but as you said if the us govt takes time then its a issue

    Havent heard of Gota having war crimes cases against him in US. Only mere allegations.
