He is a player lacking foot movements. To play cricket you must have little bit of brain rather than a huge body mass.

He performed reasonably well compared to others, should have given more chances before dropping him out. Not saying he is the best batsman available though. But he was in the team and there is no reason to drop him and bring back players like chandimal.

I am doubt about his form and I wonder your statement saying he performed reasonably well. He is neither good nor averaged. He is a shiity batsman. Passing morethan 30 once in a bluemoon hitting 3 sixes never establish his place in the national team. According to development of cricket today hit and miss players dont have a long run.

Regarding Chandinal matter I have to say he is too not suitable playing T20.

I don't know any of these... If you wanna pickup young blood ,there are many players to replace in the team. Not necessary to compare with dilshan. If you wanna pick up opener, dilshan is known YAKA

Regarding Chandinal matter I have to say he is too not suitable playing T20.

I said he performed reasonably well because others didn't perform at all. We don't have world class T20 players so even the players like munaweeera who perform once a while has to get some credit. Look at the Stats for last year T20 batting. Both Kusal perera and Asela are injured and we dropped the only other batsman who scored a 50 and has a 140+ strike rate last year while keeping non performing Tharanga, Dickwella, Shanaka,T Perera and Chandimal in the team.
