Member Nazreena: Today is 4 months since my beloved Naazir left us to meet his creator
4 months since I took my husband for a check up to DURDENS HOSPITAL and came back home with his body.
My husband was taken in to the theatre on the 23rd at around 8 am for a bypass surgery. I was told that it may take around 5 hrs to complete the operation. I was also asked to stay at the waiting room close to the theatre so in case of any complication they WOULD inform me . SO I waited reaching out to Allah.5hrs later I tried to see if I could get some updates of the operation. But there was no one near the theatre except a security guard walking to and fro. I had no choice but to ask him about what's going on.The guard told me not to worry cos if there were complications some one WOULD talk to me. He said every thing must be going on well.I felt relieved after so I went back to my prayers n waited anxiously for some one to update me.My agony of waiting prolonged. Now over 10 hrs since they took my husband in and no one has spoken to me.I couldn't wait anymore I demanded along with my other family members that I see my husband. Finally they let me in to the ICU. I thought that every thing had gone on well but to my dismay I saw the dissapointed face of the surgeon. He told me that my husband had a heart arrest after the induction of anaesthetic and they stabilised him and did the surgery. But it had gone all wrong and my husband was battling for his life. SHOCKED and with little words to speak I begged the surgeon to make him better.
But the surgeon left my critical husband alone only with one medical officer to perform his next surgery. He performs 3 consecutive operations a day so he had no time to waste with my husband. My darling husband passed away at 1am the next day leaving me and my 4 children behind.
We needed questions to be answered
*Why was I not informed that he had a heart arrest and that he was battling for his life.
* Why did the surgeon not take our approval to go ahead with the surgery with my husband's weak heart.
*who gave him the right to gamble with my husband's life cos it does not take a genius to understand that u can't perform a major operation on a heart that just had a heart arrest.
*Why did they go out of the norm and not inform us of his status?
*If we didn't insist would they have only told us after he was pronounced dead?
* how did a person so lively and after staying 6 days at the hospital not showing any sign of a heart attack get it as soon as he was given the anaesthetic?
We have desperately tried to contact the chairman but we were not given an appointment * we have asked for a total refund since we didn't need to pay for an operation which we were not consulted for.
To add insult to injury with disrespect for my husband's life they have offered Rs 50 000/
That's the value they gave for my husband's life.
THIS IS WRITTEN TO PREVENT THIS INCIDENT HAPPENING TO SOMEONE ELSE...
MAY ALLAH BLESS MY HUSBAND, NAAZIR AJWARD AND GRANT HIM JANNATHUL FIRDAWS. AAMEEN..
Durdans charged One Million just to kill him
A similar incident should never happen to anyone hereafter..
I want to create awareness from these business minded doctors such as Dr. Dev

Risk vs benifits බලද්දී සල්ලි නිසා risk එක අඩුවෙන් calculate වෙනවා වගෙයි පේන්නේ
